                                    Uff  Ye Garmi ...............!!!!!!!!!

Uff Ye Garmi .. !!!! This is sole topic of discussion among all North Indians nowadays. In summers average temperature of South India is in between 25-35 degree Celsius where as of North India in between 35 to 50 degree Celsius. I woke up in the morning, went to the Balcony and did Surya Namaskar . Surya Dev was shining very bright that North India seemed to be kissed generously by the sun this summer. I couldn’t stand there for long and hastened towards room.

It was a holiday and i was avoiding going out. But all of a sudden due to some crucial work i had to go to market. Temperature was around 47 degree Celsius. It was too hot outside and I was trying to walk in shade. As soon as i reached the main market, I observed some of the people. They were trying to protect themselves from heat by using scarves of different colour Orange, Blue, Purple, Red etc. It was difficult to identify them because they wrapped scarf around their face. Some people were drinking cold drink, lemon water, Sugar cane juice. A few of them was carrying umbrella. Shopkeepers were seating in front of fan/cooler in their shops. Roadside sellers were using hand fan.

I went further , two people were talking loudly , one of them said that he was feeling fidgety for last 2 days because of high temperature , as soon as he finished saying this, he ate one full hot Kachori. I was surprised that he had very good stamina. I thought to try, but seeing my condition I said that shop bye bye.

After some distance, I saw some workers were working for construction of building; their children were playing nearby with joy on their face. One old man was pulling rickshaw, although they were working out of need, I saluted them for working in harsh condition with smile on face.

People use different solutions for protection from temperature .Permanent solution is plantation and less pollution.

In the end, A small prayer " Surya Dev , you have done a lot of work , how much more you will shine bright , please take some rest , radiate less. Indra Dev please start travelling towards North India, it is very beautiful, Increase its beauty by rain. We are waiting for you. Give us less sunshine, give us rain."

                                                                          Simply Voter

I was travelling by auto, I asked auto driver to whom you will cast vote this time. He said, whosoever is the candidate he is committed to BSP and will cast vote BSP life time. On imploring further, He replied some time back when he was in trouble; BSP minister helped him a lot. Since then he is loyal to BSP. A large chunk of population in India especially low income people wants ROTI, KAPDA AUR MAKAN. During day to day efforts of earning money, they do not have time to think and analyze the political scenario. Most of them are so innocent that they cast the vote by listening to others. Lack of awareness and medium are stops them from exploring true motive of politician. Almost every candidate promises development, education, proper infrastructure and lesser prices of day to day items. It makes selection of proper candidate difficult, so people vote on the basis of past experiences with party.

Some states of India have the villages which does not have proper infrastructure like electricity, communication medium. Usually in those villages people are so poor and uneducated that “Sarpanch” of the village tells them whom to vote. Some people vote to party who supports their cast.  Some chunk of people who wants people do not develop or do not unite for their own reasons or their own vote bank. How, to ensure biased free voting then?

I believe we the youth of country should take some responsibility for betterment of country. Future depends on educated youth population. But I was wondering many youths do not believe in voting they think their vote will not make a difference. Some people wants to vote but do not vote due to their own valid reasons. Biased free voting cannot be ensured by doing advertisement for two to three months.
It could be brought by eliminating root cause of the problem. Politicians involved in ill practices should not be supported by us. Difference on the name of Cast based voting has to eliminate. To ensure that we should respect people from all religion so that people do not feel inferior being in minority. I sincerely believe reservation in job and education now should be nullified gradually. Where ever we are living, we can take responsibility to educate at least one person so that become aware about their rights and good employment. We can associate with one NGO and once in month can go to villages or slum area of city to educate people to improve their condition. Everyone has power to bring change, even a small change may convert into big with time.

                           And i met him !!

Everyone says when we met Guruji ( Sri Sri Ravi Shankar) ,we couldn’t  sleep for whole night. But when i met him for the first time, I was so happy that I had a sound sleep.
My first blog dedicated to my Guruji Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He is the spiritual Guru and cofounder of the NGO art of living. Before meeting him I never believed in the word called GURU. How, I started following him is a interesting story. Some years back, I went to a mall in Bangalore. I saw some volunteer of art of living were distributing the pamphlet of course of art of living.  I registered and attended course. Throughout the course I had strange feeling why these people worship him.
Life went on and after a year I came to Gurgaon. There I met to my school friend. She is a follower of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. I heard a lot about Charisma of Guruji from her and his devotees. They used to tell  story about Guruji.I listen repeatedly from them that “Guruji knows everything “.  For the first time when I heard this, didn't believe it and laughed a lot. After listening, all the stories I was so curious to meet him and wanted to experience what is so special about him.

Time went on and 10 months passed, In March I heard Guruji is coming to Delhi after 4 days, after listening this I prayed to him " I want to meet you".I thought, if all people say right about Guruji, then anyhow i will meet him. I tried to make plan with people to go to place where he was coming, but somehow before a day of his arrival plan got cancel. I was disappointed. Next day on 16 March, around 1 O’clock my phone rang it was my friend who is Gruruji’s devotee. She said “I am going to meet Guruji, will you accompany me.” As soon as I heard this, first thought in my mind perhaps this is my call to meet Guruji. I got ready and reached to the place with my friend. It was around 4 O’clock. As soon as we reached there, people said Guruji just went  upstairs after giving Darshan. I thought oh, I missed him. Around 50 people were there. We all were waiting for Guruji to come down. There were two doors to go to outside from the building , all of us were confused from which door he would  go out. Fortunately, we were waiting for him at the door from which he came out. As soon as he came out, my friend shout "Guruji".He looked behind through the crowd and we gave our wish letter to him.I said to my friend I want to meet him again, someone said from behind “he is going to come back at 7, wait till then.”We decided to wait, it was 5 PM and we had 2 hours. We were hungry so  ate at near by place, when we reached back again, we saw people were waiting for Guruji outside the building. Thought came in my mind” A lot people are here, will we able to meet him?”. I prayed Guruji “Please meet me”.
At 7 O’clock he came, at that time there was around 100 devotees. We rushed towards the hall and found seat which was three row away from Guruji’s seat. People were singing Bhajan’s. Whole environment was so meditative that I the person who hardly enjoyed Bhajan’s ,also enjoyed it. Guruji came inside and sat on his chair. We were hardly 3 feet away from him. His face was radiating and so full of peace.I felt presence of light & positive aura around him. I experienced he was very concerned for each and every person around him. He distributed Prasad to us and exchanged pleasantries. I was speechless when I met him, tears rolled down from my eyes, goose bump went up. I didn't say anything only experienced that moment. He shared his vision and plans to help poor. I felt whatever he said was just amazing and very captive. That was an experience which couldn't  described in words .A  pleasant  feeling, I must say.
We took taxi for home, throughout all the way we were discussing that moment. My friend told me she didn't had any prior plan to meet Guruji, but on the same day of Guruji’s arrival she went to Delhi and thought to call me if I am coming. After listening that I understood it was really a call.
